Steve - I'm confused by your message <smile> If Google gives turn-by-turn running under Android, wouldn't it do the same under IOS? Isn't it the app that determines this, not the OS? -

Hi Andy, Google maps gives pedestrian turn by turn in Android, but I am not sure about Apple as I haven't tried it. A bitconfusing. Am I right however in thinking that Google maps like Apple maps, does not give turn-by-turn instruction in pedestrian mode? For me, if that is the case, then no point in choosing Google over Apple, as I have found the native app to be excellent in car, and very good on foot for informing of upcoming road. I'm very reluctant to spend 60 quid on Navigon, to get turn-by-turn, and not sure how up-to-date Navigon maps are, after all, aren't they part of Garmin? I have found Garmin to be very poor, in-car, atleast! - Andy----- Original Message ----- From: "Steve Nutt" <steve@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, May 13, 2013 10:49 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: satnabHi, Google are more than happy to embrace iOS users.
