Hi Alison.
I know someone else who this happened to and it was proven that they weren’t
actually exceeding their data allowance.
I would go into the mobile data settings and check what apps are using your
data and by how much. It is probably worth resetting the stats and then
monitoring for a few days.
If you are mainly downloading at home, I’d assume you’re using your internet
connection rather than data anyway so shouldn’t be any need to stop downloading
any of thosee items you’ve mentioned.
If you get more texts and you can clearly see in your mobile data stats that
you haven’t exceeded, take it up with your provider. I’m pretty certain the
provider where this has happened exactly as for yourself was Vodaphone.
Regards.

I’ve had the same contract for years and never gone over my data limit. But
last month and again this week I have received a text saying I have exceeded my
data allowance. (Following by an invitation to upgrade of course!)
I subscribe to 7 Little Words which has a daily download. When I get these
messages about exceeding my data, should I not download these, or any more
podcasts or Overdrive Books?
The puzzles are available to download daily but if I don’t download them, then
presumably this doesn’t affect my data useage?
