unfortunately not, as a few people seemed to be having issues downloading it,
so one person created a temporary dropbox link for the latest version, and
that's where I grabbed it from.

I know what you mean, and it is a real shame, as pontes would be a super
lovely bit of software, if it wasn't for this array of bugs lately.
I also recently got hold of another program, "tca media downloader", which is
also supposed to be accessible for us, but haven't got round to testing it out
yet.

Thanks for the tip mate, I did buy video soft's suite some years ago,
perhaps I'll reinstall that and see what happens, but I really liked the pontes
interface as it was super efficient to work with but it hasn't been updated in
quite a while and YouTube like many other sites are cottoning to these download
tools so they need to be kept up-to-date to swirl blocks.

I am sorry to have to say, that the pontes downloader really needs a major
bug fixing session, as there seem to have been a number of issues with it
lately, that a number of people have had and seemingly reported.
I myself, have been having a few headaches with the latest version,
including files not converting, downloads not completing, downloads not
starting/having to be started again, and some of the notification sounds not
playing.
even worse, when I tried uninstalling, and then re-installing it, to try to
hopefully get rid of at least some of the bugs, (which didn't work), it seems
to have messed up another of my downloaders, Calliope, which now also won't
download things.
as far as youtube goes, I am now using the dvd video soft youtube
downloader. even though it calls itself "free", the free version is so limited,
that certainly from my point of view, it was worth getting the premium version,
which is now working very well for me.
my advice at the moment, would be to give pontes a body swerve, until they
get it in gear and properly fix the bugs.

Wonder if anyone can shine a light on this one. I'm using Pontes media
downloader to download tracks from Youtube Music for an upcoming event, and
find that when I use a playlist or album url, only a handful of songs are
downloaded, usually about 5 before the downloads stop. I'm using the latest
version of Pontes as downloaded from https://www.pontes.ro/en/scripts/
