Hello

It seems that my old xerox docuprint has left this world and I am
looking for recommendations for its replacement.

I have the following requirements:-

It will be used for printing text and also pictures from digital
cameras e.t.c.

Running costs are important. My daughter could get through a couple
of cartridges a month with the xerox and they did not come cheap.

Would like to be able to print envelopes and labels e.t.c.

I also wonder about the ease of changing cartridges or tona e.t.c.
With the xerox, each time the cartridge was changed, the heads had to
be realigned. This involved making some prints and adjusting
settings until the appearance was correct. This was a hassle and I
would like to avoid this.

Also, good driver support is important. Want this to work for a long
time.

I am thinking perhaps lazer. Is the print quality of these as good
as an ink jet?

Qhite happy for it to be on the large size and running cost is more
important than purchase price as it will get considerable use.

Any ideas?

Keith
