Hi Everyone,

I wonder if anyone could give me advice on dealing with an annoying problem.

Normally, when I boot the pc, my cd /dvd drive shows up as Drive e.
However, sometimes it just does not appear to be there. I look in my
computer and A C D and F are there, but E is not.

If I do a restart, it sometimes is recognised, but it sometimes takes three
or four reboots to activate the E drive. Once it is recognised it works
fine.

Can anyone tell me how to put this right?

Thanks.

David
