If you're using an Apple keyboard, the top right key can also do this.

The keyboard should only come up when you are about to edit something so if
you double tap on settings and swipe left or right to whatever you want the
keyboard should not come up. another way of getting rid of the virtual keyboard
is if you have a Bluetooth one and then it is the Bluetooth keyboard that gets
used and the virtual one does not come up.

Does anybody know how to get rid of a keyboard. The reason I ask is that
sometimes when I am trying to find page 1 I get as far as settings and then a
keyboard kicks in and I don’t know how to get rid of it.

    Thanks for any help
