Hi George

We have decided to get him the same one I use, it is a good
one, he has the monitor, pc and we have the satellite for
the internet and phone so that needs protecting too. I use
the apc backup 400, it is very good, 4 plugs with battery
and 4 normal anti-serge, I think it is good value.

Adrien

Hi Adrian,

I'm not sure how easy it will be to find anything much
smaller. Does he not have a monitor and Modem/Router to
protect also?

You could try these guys (Long URL here) - maybe even call
or e-mail them.

Subject: [access-uk] looking for a small universal power
supply

Hi

I know I asked this a few weeks ago but I didn't get a
response. I am looking for a small battery backup system or
universal power supply to protect my dad's pc because the
electricity frequently switches over to a different power
station and even for a minute we get a cut in the supply and
it causes problems with his pc. He needs to get a battery
backup for his pc otherwise his pc just will fail one day. I
use one by apc but he tells me he doesn't want anything as
big, mine takes 8 uk plugs, he just wants one to put his pc
into, any ideas please?

Regards

Adrien
