Eleanor, Do you use your Acer as the main computer system in your home?.According to the user manual for my Acer 5920. The battery life is 3.30 hours. I haven't as yet tried this out. I have only worked my Acer as my main home system.

Billy I think the battery is more of a back-up in case your electricity fails. I have an Acer too and I notice over time that the battery life does go down a bit. I think I only get 90 minutes on my battery but then the lap top is about 7 years old.Eleanor----- Original Message ----- From: "trueblue & proud" <hotscot72@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, November 03, 2008 12:40 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: laptop battery?Tristram, no I won't be gone from the laptop for any length of time.Infact, I use my Acer laptop as my main computer in the home. I was just wondering if any damage could be done, by using the power supply instead of the battery?,Billy----- Original Message ----- From: "Tristram Llewellyn" <tristram.llewellyn@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, November 03, 2008 9:21 AM Subject: [access-uk] Re: laptop battery?"hi guys, is it better to remove the laptop battery if not in use?
