Phil,

I'm not Iain, but, if it helps a bit - it's a bit of a long path.

Use Windos key+R to run and type c:\documents and settings\"Your Name"

If it doesn't work, leave out the name bit and then you can cursor to find it.

Once you've found it, press "Enter".

From there you want Application Data and press "Enter"

Then press the letter F to get to Freedom Scientific and again press "Enter".

From there, press "Enter" on Jaws.

find the version you want and press "Enter"

Find and press "Enter" on Settings.

Press the letter E to select ENU and press "Enter"

You're now in the folder where most scripts are kept. (I think you can put them in "Personalised scripts" or something here but it probably won't matter.

Now, leaving that window open, you need to copy and paste your scripts ...

You probably won't have to compile them - and I hope not because I get in a mess there and haven't done it for ages!

Hope this helps a bit and gets you where you need to be.

If you need more help, either ask on list or write me directly.

You need to unzip the scripts into your personal JAWS
settings. The scripts will run with JAWS 10 and 11.

Ok Ian,

I'm going to admit my ignorance here...it's a long while
since I installed any JFW scripts, what do I do with the
files once I have downloaded them?

I know I'm meant to put them somewhere in my Jaws
directory but not sure where?

Also are these scripts jaws version specific, I'm
running v10.

Cheers,

Phil

You can download JAWS scripts from either
http://usuarios.discapnet.es/tifloinforma/dl/Spotify/SpotifyJfwScripts
_1_3_X
P_ENG.zip
or
http://usuarios.discapnet.es/tifloinforma/dl/Spotify/SpotifyJfwScripts
_1_3_V ista_ENG.zip. I have been using Spotify with
these scripts for some time now.

Hi John,

I downloaded it a few weeks ago but sadly in my
experience it is not very accessible at all and in fact
I even had an email from the developers pretty much
admitting this. No doubt someone will come on list and
say I'm wrong but well that's been my experience.

Cheers,

Phil

I've just been reading about the music service called
Spotify. I see you have to download an application to
use it. Does anyone know if it is accessible to a Jaws
user?
