[access-uk] iTunes query solved!

All,

Thanks to those who responded, especially John Gallagher. I have now solved
my iTunes problem. As I want my iPhone and iPad Mini to be different in
what I store on them, what I did was to make sure the "Sync when device is
connected", and "Music" boxes were unticked. The music I purchased on my
iPad Mini ended up on my iPhone, so I then went into Settings, General, and
Usage. In there, each app on my iPhone is shown, so I double-tapped on
Music, and chose Delete All. Then I connected my iPhone to the Mac to see
if the music would transfer again, and it didn't.

I have therefore learnt that Usage is a really handy place to check how much
each app takes up. It might not be the easiest way of getting rid of
unwanted stuff, but it sure as hell works. I also realised that if you go
to Settings and Music on your device, you can turn on a feature that only
shows what you have on that device rather than in your iTunes library.

Kind regards,
