Hi I suspected that it was outlook as it does seem to be temperamental. I'll disable the signatures in outlook for my google account as it obviously doesn't work accept for completely new messages. From what you are saying, google adds the signature to my messages, is that correct? So I needn't use the signature at all. I don't know why Outlook sometimes does the things it does but I wouldn't tolerate it outside work. An alternative is to stop Outlook from having anything to do with signatures on your Googlemail account and use Googlemail itself to add the signature itself. You can set this up under "settings" when you are logged in on the web and then go through the page until you get to the "no signature" radio button and throw that on you can add yourself a text signature there which will be added to all outgong mail. This also conveys the advantage that if you choose to use Googlemail in its intended web guise your signature will be added anyway. Regards. All the settings in outlook 2003 are set ok and obviously work otherwise I wouldn't be able to send my signature at all. If I send a completely new message from my contacts list it also works, it's just replies and forwards to google.
