Hi Jim.

You have to make sure your disk is formatted using the GPT partitioning option. You also have to make sure your enclosure supports drives that are more than 2TB in size. Finally, you have to make sure that your drivers are up to date so they recognise external drives that are more than 2TB in size.

all the best,

Mo.

Hi List,

I bought a 3 TB hard drive and a USB enclosure but when I connected them to my pc although the device drivers installed without any problem, the hard disk itself does'nt show up on the "computer" window in w7. I get the right pc sound when it's connected and I can hear and feel the disk starting up and sso on. I'm not sure what else to do.
Any thoughts?
