Hi,
Same on Android, but scroll up with two fingers.
Or you can hit the search button and type the first few letters of either
surname or Christian name and the contacts list will be narrowed down.
Heck you could even say Call Steve. <Smile>.
All the best
Steve

Subject: [access-uk] entering the world of android
A couple of months ago I was given a present of an android phone, many of my
blind friends told me it wasn’t accessible for blind people, so that was a
challenge for me, i’m making headway albeit slowly, and I do get sighted help,
I have conquered the “answer phone” swipe, and and one or two other gestures,
however, I would welcome some advice on searching my contacts folder, I go in
to contacts, and I see the first seven names, how do I get to the contact i’m
looking for? On my I phone it was just a matter of skimming through with my
finger and tapping on the contact I was looking for, but this doesn’t seem to
work with my android phone, hope someone can help, god bless, travel safely,
joe.
