Hi,

Well, that is something I am never doing again. So my solution was to
download the twitter app and turn on notifications for the bbc
elections twitter feed. Unfortunately, I totally failed to grasp the
fact that 650 results coming in means 650 push notifications means
that iPhone battery does not stay up very late. Kind of stupid on my
part lol. Decent election result though.

All the best,
- James

Updates update. I have just received from my BBC News iPhone app a message
giving me the chance to opt in for general election push updates which I
have accepted,.Funnily enough though, I’ll be listening to results on LBC as
I prefer Iain Dale and Sheilagh Fogarty to Jim Naughtie and Emma Barnett.
