[access-uk] deleting items in favourites

I am using MS Outlook Express with JAWS 7.1 and I am having difficulty deleting
items on my favourites list. neither Alt D or using the delete button seem to
work. I have even tried selecting the items then pressing delit. Can anyone
advise?
