Presuming you held that second tap, I don't know now as I saw it once but
preferred this older method.

Perhaps I'll have to learn the new one also.

I have done the double tap but it doesn’t seem to want to delete. iss there a
way to do it on your pc through the apps in iTunes? if so does anybody know
how please.

Janet, I think the double tap and hold method still works. Once you do this,
you should get a prompt as to whether you want to delete or not.

You can also go to your programmes in Settings, I think, and delete from
there, but as I don't have a 6 and can't do it on my 4S, maybe I'm wrong about
that.
