Hi Joe.

It may be that you have accidentally set screen echo to all.  Use insert and S 
repeatedly until Jaws announces highlighted and see if that stops the unwanted 
behaviour.

Friends, for some reason or other my desktop computer has started speaking the 
time, how do I stop it doing that, i’m using jaws 11 and windows ten, I think I 
must have switched something on, any help will be really appreciated, god
