Hi Steve,
I did contact the RNIB because they do repair them and the person, I spoke
to thought that they could help with replacing the battery. So, he past my
request on to the relevant department and typical RNIB I have heard nothing
so far. I am shore if they could get me a battery, I could replace it myself
or if not, I could get someone to help me.

Do RNIB not have it? They are supposed to sell the Orbit Readers, but
clearly don't at the moment.
They should be able to get you one though.

Hi all,
Because no one in this country sells a replacement battery for the orbit
Reader 20 I have got to get one from abroad. As I have never done anything
like this before I am feeling very nervous about doing this apart from the
price being in dollars instead of pounds what else will I find different
from buying goods in this country I also hope that I am right, and it is a
replacement battery that I need. It tells me it is charging but it is stuck
on 60% I did connect it to my laptop to see if I could charge it that way
and it got to 80% but now it has dropped back to 60% and it won't go any
