Hi Wendy,

There are three kinds of resets. The simplest is pressing c3-c4 together
until you hear a beep, then release them. Normally this is just a soft reset
and your speech should return. If that doesn't do it, do a 1-2-3 reset; hold
down keys 1-2-3 while pressing c3-c4, wait until you hear the chime and then
release the keys. This completely re-starts Windows CE and Keysoft. As a
last resort, do a firmware reset which is a 4-5-6 with c3-c4 but remember
this restores Keysoft and Windows CE to the factory state.

HTH.

Paul.

Subject: [access-uk] brailleNote pk query

Hi all

If anyone uses a BrailleNote pk, is there a reset that I can do that won't
damage/lose any files that I have created (I've left the manual at work and
can't find what I need on the pk). It has stopped speaking even though in
the options menu it is set to speak at all times - neither the alarm or the
deletion/error messages are sounding either.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Many thanks.
