Hi
Before you try to set up Apple Pay and to avoid disappointment, you should
check that your bank supports this function and that it is enabled on your
account/card. Are used to bank with Barclays, but because of the restrictions
placed on my account I was unable to use Apple Pay and I had to switch banks in
order to get this incredibly useful service. I now enjoy Apple Pay on my phone
and my watch and it is as you say I’m very dangerous addiction LOL :-)

Mike,
To quote my wife Angie, Apple Pay is dangerously accessible. <Smile>.

Steve,
I haven't thought of doing that as I always assumed it would be a faff in a
shop, but if you say it is definitely accessible, as all Apple IOS apps are
of course, I'll give it a try.
I always have my phone with me and there is less likelihood of dropping my
phone and losing it than a card.

Hi Mike,
Could you not just use Apple Pay? It would cost you nothing, you could do
it with your phone, and it is accessible.
Just a suggestion.
All the best

Subject: [access-uk] bpay
Hello folks
I didn't go to Sight Village this year but a sighted friend of mine who went
there for work mentioned the Barclays Bank 'bpay' thing to me.
I have ordered a wrist band version of this contactless payment device
because I thought using it might be better than running the risk of dropping
and possibly losing a card.
Also it might make keeping track of multiple small purchases easier.
But on looking at the app store on Apple I see a number of very negative
reviews including one titled 'Dangerous Rubbish' which is very damning.
Has anybody anything to say on the subject?
I've managed 9 years of total blindness without ever losing a card so I can
probably do without if it will avoid complication with the app, problems
getting support etc.
