Hi steve, this did the trick, thanks! I did ensure my friend wanted the sounds
off before I passed the phone on, she to found them quite distracting but yes,
I’m sure many find them helpful, again thanks!

Hi,
Those are the Talkback sounds. In Talkback settings, check Sound Feedback and
turn it off. Be aware though that they are helpful to some blind people, so
before you make that judgment call, check with the person to whom you are
giving it, otherwise they may not be aware that the sounds exist.
All the best

Subject: [access-uk] android querie!
Hi folks, found a old moto G 1st gen running android 5.1, which I want to pass
onto a blind friend, however on switching it on every time I touch the screen
there are most annoying music chimes and distracting noises!I did go to
settings and looked in talkback settings as welll as sound but could not find
the means to switch this off, any help would be great, thanks!
