  If your friend uses Windows XP they will need to go to Control panel > 
display > Desktop tab.  Then press tab until they get to "Customize desktop" 
button and press it with spacebar.  Then press control+tab to locate the "web" 
tab, and uncheck anything here that is checked.  Then press enter and back out 
of the other dialogues.

    hi guys, how can i remove active desktop?.
    My friends computer, keeps getting an active desktop error everytime she
