I am mistaken, there is a playback control for speed. If you focus on this
with voiceover on your iPhone, you should be able to adjust pseed incrementally
by double tapping on the button. I’ve tried this on my iPhone and also my
computer running chrome and it works fine.

I don’t think so, the Audible stories offer is delivered through a web browser
interface, you can’t download a Books to your Audible app so there is no
ability to adjust the speed unless I have missed something. I can go back and
doublecheck but I think I looked at this before and couldn’t find one.
