Hi all,
I’m looking into buying a new screen for my desktop. I would like it to have
built-in speakers, web camera, and a microphone. Also, it has to be no less
than 24 inches in size; preferably 26 or 32 inches.
Now, my main and only worry is how JAWS will sound on the built-in speakers.
From past experience, if JAWS was routed through a channel other than the 3.5
soundcard plug, say the HMDI output channel, it becomes sluggish and sounds
distorted with some devices. The audio on such new screen will certainly be fed
via an HMDI cable. So, can someone recommend a screen with the specs I have in
mind, and they either have used it with JAWS successfully before or they
believe it won’t have issues with audio output? And ah, it must have tactile
buttons too!
Any recommendations or ideas will be gratefully received because otherwise I
have no choice but to buy and try, and return if the screen proofed problematic
with JAWS and that is a great inconvenience as you can imagine.
