tell me more Amro because I have problems with my wireless connection at the
moment and use NOD as well, didn't think that the trusted thing could mess up
like this, so, please tell me more on or off list.

It couldn't be that the ethernet adapter got disabled by error somehow?
Another thing, what security software are you using? Could it be that your
ethernet connection is blocked by your anti virus/firewall?
I use Eset and I have a similar issue, I think, though it is with my wireless.

If nothing works, try unplugging your PC from the mains for five minutes and
see if it just starts working.

My PC was connected to the internet using the ethernet lead connection.
For some reason this connection suddenly stopped working and I somehow got
it running again using the wireless connection.
I have obviously checked that the wire is properly connected to both PC and
rooter. Can somebody please give me a simple step by step guide as to how I
re-establish the wire connection or determine where the fault is.
