MessageHi damon

I've ot done this for a while, but I think the problem might be the 'legend'
attribute in html. Try just haivng the question as text above the form
controls and see if that sorts it out. Of course the disadvantage of doing
this is that scren readers who are just tabbing through the form and not going
back in to virtual cursor/MSAA mode won't hear the question at all. As a work
aroud you could include the paragraph containing the question in a tabindex
attribute.

It becomes a problem when you get questions longer than "Your age?" for
instance.

Our particular issue surrounds a question that read something like "If you
answered no to the above question, then ..."

WE're trying to think of editorial solutions around this but it seems bound
up in the access issues.

How about not having very very long questions?

Wondering if anyone could help me on the accessibility of forms. I've
looked at the RNIB's access centre website but it's not very clear.

WE're putting together a survey on the Ouch website at the moment.

Our screenreader access issue goes like this:

1: you land on the question

2: you arrow down thru the options but, before every option the question
is read out again.

When the question is very very long, this causes issues.

Is there a way of getting to the question on the survey, hearing the
question only once and then arrowing thru the radio button option but only
hearing the option not the question and option every time you arrow down?

      Any thoughts appreciated.
