hi billy well the loop antenna is truly amazing but costs fourteen hundred quid
which is a lot of money. i may try the 49 to 1 ballon with the long wire. the
difficult band is the 80 metre band because of the length of antenna that i
would need. very complicated but of course this is why the loop which is very
small gets rid of all this. the problem with the loop though is that you need a
good atu to tune the damn thing.

yes you will find it very accessible and as i say say on seven point one five
zero you can test how good your actual antenna is by listening to the different
bands with the sdr radio. i am trying to find a way of getting help for either
a magnetic loop erial or a long wire but with the sdr it's great because you
can just listen i would love to find how to listen to say the phoenix network
on a laptop like talk group 80.

HI guys, Asked this before, but got no replies. So I am asking again. What sdr
units are you using if any.
ÂIâÂÂm wondering if there is any SDR units that are accessible to us blind
folks?, Billy
