John,

I've never tryed Text Aloud, heard of it loads over the years but...

Can you still scroll in the document with the arrows, or will it just play the
file back using a sapi voice like a media player?

JFW?

Hi Lyn, do you want to keep the format unchanged, or do you just want to read
the text? If you only need to read the text Text Aloud will convert pdf to
text, and will do it extremely quickly, literally in a couple of seconds. It
isn't free though. For ease of use though it's the best program for doing it
that I've found. Once you've told Windows you want to open pdf files with text
aloud that's all you need to do. when you click on a pdf text aloud will
convert and put the text file in the same folder as the pdf.
                      John.

    Hi list,
I was wondering if any of you knew of a good, possibly free alternative to
the bulky adobe reader to read .PDF files? Accessible with Jaws too of course.
I would appreciate any feedback on this. Thanks a lot.
