Thanks Jackie,
I think I will give it a go. Does defender have personal firewall at all?

Hi Ali
If you are using Windows 10, stick with Defender. You are just wasting your
money to buy something else when Defender, I believe, does a good enough
job. If you are using anything below Windows 10, you might need to consider
something else because I don't know how good Microsoft virus protection is
these days for Windows 7 and 8. Eset used to be good, but they don't seem
to care about accessibility any more, so I wouldn't give them my money!
Kind regards,
Jackie Brown

Subject: [access-uk] Windows defender
Hi all,
My Eset subscription is expiring end of this month and I am debating whether
to extend it or move onto defender as the Eset has been quite inaccessible.
What do people think about the defender as the main virus protection?
