Hi Andy, Glad you found my suggestion of some use. Now, re the error message you're getting, well I've just set up a new live.co.uk email account to try it and it worked. I couldn't replicate the error message you're getting. Thought I'd let you know... I would have offered to open an account on your behalf but I would then have an access to your password and details... Speaking of Windows Live, I was offered two online versions, one of which was recommended for screen readers! Pretty good!

Hope you get it sorted soon, Andy.

Amro

Hi Amro - This is most helpful, as it got me to the point of setting up a
Live email address, from within the Firebox browser, the very thing I hadn't been able to do! Unfortunately, when I click on the link to create an email address, that page comes up that has been there now for about 4 days, saying
there is an error with the sign up process that they are trying to repair!

So, still stuck it seems, until MS sort things out at their end -

Andy

| Hi Andy, Don't confuse yourself. It might be easier if you just create a
| hotmail email address first before trying to log into Windows Live
| Messenger. Open Firefox and go to www.hotmail.co.uk and choose "Sign up"
to
| create a new email address. Once you've finished creating your new
| hotmail.co.uk or live.co.uk email address, run the Windows Live Messenger
| application, and use the new email address and password you created to
sign
| in.
|
| Cheers,
| Amro
