I agree regarding the beta thing. However it doesn't necessarily mean that because it's a beta that you will have significant problems. It's just down to each individual as to whether you want to risk it or not, and I probably wouldn't install it on something criticial for important work. But I have to say that as yet I haven't had it creash once or do anything particularly strange.

I shouldn't really considerusing it until at least the first patch. Be confident with security thanks to User Account Control. Cons: still a beta so will contain bugs and issues. Will look and work like Vista. -- Chris Hallsworth e-mail: christopherh40@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx MSN: ch9675@xxxxxxxxxxx Skype: chrishallsworth7266 ----- Original Message ----- From: "Barry Hill" <bbinc@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, February 13, 2009 9:23 PM Subject: [access-uk] Windows 7 review Ok, this is quite a vague query, I know, but I can't think of a better way of asking the question.I didn't fancy Windows Vista as a Jaws user, but is Windows 7 better than XPfor me as a blind computer user, or should I just stick with what I know?I'm not looking for a full review, just a couple of pro's and con's perhaps.Cheers Barry ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
