In terms of your web shortcut.
1. Go to the web page.
2. Press F6 to jump into the address bar.
3. Press control C to copy the address to clipboard.
4. Press windows m to shift focus to desktop
5. Press control space to deselect any icon on the desktop. This is the
important point. No icon must be highlighted.
6. press application key and then cursor down to new and then from the sub
menu select shortcut.
7. In the dialogue paste in the web address and then next to type in the
description name of the shortcut and then press OK.
8. Job done.
In terms of pitch I think you need to investigate Jaws voice profiles.

Subject: [access-uk] Windows 10 and Jaws 18
Hi all,
Just a couple of questions....
Firstly, I prefer using the Gmail website, rather than Thunderbird. Is
there any way of creating a desktop shortcut to the website? I know
how to do it with a mouse, but not with a keyboard.
Secondly, I can't seem to find where or how to change the pitch of
Jaws in Jaws 18, does anyone know how to do it?
Cheers, BJ
