Kevin, for starters, this is a Firefox only plugin.

You are going to this page

http://www.webvisum.com/

to download it?

(You have to register too to use this plugin. I presume this is so the
organisation behind wwbvisum has a record of who is uising the plugin to
decipher the code behind the on-screen graphical verification as many
website owners are less than happy with this work around.

Having installed this plugin I can confirm The verification part does work
okay. I'm less than happy with other aspects at the moment. First, the
enhanced contrast feature of the program is less than useful to me, and
seems on some pages to stop text displaying at all. You can turn it off,
but somehow it seems to have mucked up things for me.

the labeling of pages also seems not to work for me. When I assign a name
it is applied to all the open tabs, which is clearly wrong.

this is one to watch though, as it seems to promise so much. there's
reference to a built-in OCR feature, but I've not tried this and I don't
know how it works, or even if it actually does work. I imagine this OCR
is done on-line, and I'd guess Webvisum is just one of a growing number
of on-line apps now of which we already have other examples,.

Defintely one to watch as it gets improved and bugs are ironed out.

Cheers,
Ray.

hi all, i've tried for several days to download this add on for firefox.
but
the link to download just doesn't do anything. i've tried in firefox and
internet explorer, and hitting enter on the link results in nothing at
all.
