Hi Barry,
Try going into options, then security. I use Word 2003 so I tab down to the
macros security button. You might have different. I'd start there. Mind
you, I'd suggest you not go this route unless its really important for you
to activate links in MS Word. Why not just copy and paste them into IE's
Address line. Its much safer than opening Word to unsafe macros.

I've had a look at the menu's in Word, but I can't find anything about
activating macros. How would I do this? Also, what do I do to activate the
link once the macro's have been activated? Incidentally, when I cursor to
the email address, Jaws does say *hyperlink*.
