Hi David,

Do you get Paramount as part of the standard package?

When I go to 132, or 134 it seems to be ads for virgin, and channel four
respectively.

I really can't ring their customer srvices because my blood pressure can't take
the outsource folks.

Sorry if that offends anyone on the list, each and every single time it comes
up I can't see it becomes so uncomfortable.

Barry

  Barry,

to get Audio Description for channels BBC1 and 2, ITV1, channel four and
five, you use channels 851 to 855 respectively. Other channels will just
broadcast AD when it is available.

I will try to find a channel list. I used to have one but it changes fairly
regularly with new channels being added. If you want any channel numbers in
particular, just ask and I will tell you if I know the answer.

Sometimes you do have to press okay to accept channel numbers.

  Hi Folks,

We have had their broadband for a few year and decided, as it was free to get
the set top box.

  Help! <smiles>

We ran out and grabbed a Scart to Phono plug to have it going through the amp.

Is anyone here got virgin tv?

Can yu give any tips with changing channels? lol

I know where the numbers are on the controller, where volume and channel up
and down are and standby, and the OK button.

It sometimes will let me change channels using the numbers and sometimes not,
sometimes I have to hit the channel numbers and after a two second pause it
will go to the channel, sometimes I have to hit OK to accept the channel
change. However, sometimes it doesn't....

I've found the Virgin accessability thing on their site but it's a token
statement about colour contrasts and pressing the home button and the OK button?

  Where is the Home button?

Getting a bit frustrated and just want to watch telly! lol

Our net gem died which is why we went for this.

I had the engineer turn AD on, but as of yet havent' came across a program
that's audio described.

  Thanks!

  Barry
