Not being too familiar with the various models of this device myself, I can only say it is smaller in size to the Victor Reader Classic with the handle on it, but has a nomeric keypad on it for navigation, a built-in speaker, and comes with a soft carry case. But each time my friend puts a DAISY book into the drawer to play it, the CD seems to go all over the place and won't play. Yet when an audio CD is inserted with say music or an instruction manual on it in MP3 format, it works perfectly. I want to therefore locate the latest firmware release to see if this would help. I can only find reference to Victor Reader Classic, Vibe, Plus and Stream. Is it likely then that Victor is one of the older models? Thanks to anyone who can throw light on this so I can pass on.
