You really want to find out if you can get access to the Google Play store on
that machine. A friend of mine brought one of these no name Android style
tablets recently and you couldn't get onto the Google Play store despite it
being Android. This would severely limit the appeal, hence the price.

Hello List.
I see my favourite web site for refurb and bankrupt stock IT kit,
http://www.morgancomputers.co.uk are selling a Versus touch-pad for 90
quid.
So far I haven't plunged into the touch-screen, iPad or Android market,
other than my iPod Touch and my Nokia E71 (which has a keyboard).
The Versus touch-pad has Android 4, ice cream sandwich, on which I
understand the accessibility options can be switched without sighted
assistance.
The Morgan site has loads of very positive reviews of this little gizmo, but
of course they are all by sighted people.
Does anyone here have one of these or have anything to say about Android 4
itself? Yes I know 4 is about 12 months old now but I usually lag behind
the bleeding edge because I'm too busy writing code on a PC I've had for ten
years...and I don't fix things that aint broke *smile*.
