As I say, I hope I am wrong about it.
I like the way the Sense Player is going better though, adding an Android
screen reader.

On the Victor Reader list the Humanware rep reported the Audible capacity
was expected to come in the Autumn VR 3 update this year. He said that the
Audible Team was now actively working with their developers. We will see I
suppose.

Henry, I’m only negative because I know the way Audible, which of course, is
owned by Amazon, are going.
They want you to use Audible on Amazon devices, or mobile phones, and they will
continue to lean you towards that.
If I’m wrong, and you get the VRS3 working with Audible, I will be of course,
very happy.

Unless I am completely mistaken, audible were in discussion with Humanware with
regards to allowing Audible books to be played on the VRS 3, remember the
petition Jonathan Mosen organised on this topic a few weeks ago and the
positive response from Audible.

I don’t think it’s going to happen.
Audible really want us to use their apps on phones now.
I think the Sense Player is going to be the first to do that though, because
rumour has it, they are adding their own screen reader to it, probably a
modified version of Talkback. If they do that, and allow you to install apps,
then Audible will work.
But my prediction is that the relationship between Audible activation and
specialist devices, is over.
