Carol. Although I'm not Gordon, I'd guess he's advocating Eudora , Pegasus or some other mail client. After all, its well known that most virus script writers target security wholes in Outlook Express/OUtlook, if only because they are the email clients so many use. Guess that if you can face the learning curve, which I haven't as yet, it could be a worthwhile change, and not just from the security view point. Some say that Eudora, for example, has better management within it for large numbers of messages.
