Doesn't that Norton removal utility have one of those dreaded visual verifications? I'm sure last time I tried to use it on another computer, although it was a while ago, it definitely had it.

I think he found it in the Programs menu, and clicked on Uninstall. There are doubtless traces of it in my registry, but it ain'tworking now, so good riddance!! I hope that helps get you sorted. I've just purchased a new VISTA computer and it has Norton on it. I've not yet registered or activated it. It pops up at the start. I've been using NOD 32 for almost a year and I was thinking of continuing my subscription. If I wish to stick with NOD 32, then I may have to uninstall Norton. I'm a bit concerned about doing this however, just in case I muck up my system. Has anyone recently uninstalled Norton from a VISTA system and could give me some advise. If it's too problematic, then I may well just have to stick with Norton. Best wishes.
