Hi Roger, I believe you must first remove the Nero start smart utility from the system tray. Use startup manager or msconfig to stop it loading on startup , or click the icon to exit the utility, then remove it, then remove the program. All that done you might want to remove the Ahead folder from the Program Files folder. I have Nero 7 which is not working at all well so I decided to uninstall it and reload. But it won't go. I have tried using the Add/Remove Software on the Control Panel and get an error message saying "Shellmanager database is corrupt or missing" and the uninstall procedure shuts down on me. I have been to Google and searched and only seem able to find sites in German. I took French and Latin at school so they weren't a lot of use so no advancement has been made. Has anyone on the list any ideas as to how I can get this program off my system please and, if necessary, repair any damage done. Many thanks Roger There are more old drunkards than old doctors. ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
