Hi Colin,

In simple terms the A connector is the flattish
end that goes into your PC. The B connector goes
into the device such as a printer or scanner.

You will then find mini cables for things like
digital cameras, BookCouriers and such like which
are much smaller at the B end.

Thanks to George for his response on USB
extensions.

Could someone just clarify the difference in
identifying the plugs? What is an A and what is a
B? what come to think of it is a mini? I think I
understand, but I'd just like to be sure before
ordering a cable.

Thanks Colin F.
