Hi Ibby,
No, you don't have to run anything. When you plug in your key, the
launchu3.exe file should auto launch. If not, just run it from the key.
You will then get several options, one of which is Download. Go there, and
download Skype from there.

Many thanks for an in-depth explanation.
I have just checked on the Tosh drive, there is a file called launchU3.exe
and in the U3 system drive there are 3 files called autorun.inf, launchpad.
zip and launchU3.exe.
Do I need to extract the launchpad.zip in to the same u3system area?

Hi Ibby,
NVDA is not U3 compliant for a start. The only way you are going to get a
program to run automatically, is if it is U3 compliant.
To get Skype to work, you have to download the U3 version of Skype. To do
this, you have to go to the U3 launchpad on your key, and download Skype
from the U3 download centre. Then it will be installed on your key, so that
it runs automatically.

Hi Folks,
Please can anyone advise me on how to get a U3 pen drive to work.
I have a Toshiba 4GB pen drive and would like to have things like Skype to
work from the pen drive which I have been told it can be done.
I have also copied NVDA on to this drive with a autorun file on the drive
but it still does not load.
