[access-uk] Re: Turning off Voice Over on I phone 4S

Hi Colin,

I never found the triple tap on the home key to work, a double 3 finger tap
on the screen mutes the voice, but as described before, it does not change
the navigation method.

I found the iPhone odd at the start, but now I would not go back, however,
buy it when you have some spare time on your hands!!

Kindest regards,

Mike

Thanks all, sorted.
Out of interest hitting home 3 times did not seem to work, I tried a number
of times and I think brought up app changer or something.
I reckon I may like the I phone but would need some practice.
Thanks again all

Hi,

A three finger swipe upwards will move down the screen to accessibility,
when there, slect voice over to turn it off and return the phone to normal
use for sighted individuals.

Careful, as disabling the voice with a 3 finger double tap on the screen
does not alter the method of navigation, so even though it is muted, it is
still operated the same way as with voice over on, ie. Double tap to open, 3
finger swipes etc.

Regards,

Mike
