I've just used www.tinyurl.com with JAWS 13 and IE9 with no problems at all.

Hello,

What website do people use for shortening URLs? I just went to
tinyurl.com after not having used it for ages and found after putting
the url in it came up with a page I couldn't read fanything in with
JAWS/Firefox. Has anyone any recommendations for an URL shortening
service?
