Ibrahim

I had a look in the connections area and could not see an option for
performing a speed test. Would you mind having a look please to check that I
have not missed it.

Also I measured the time delay between the press of the  magic remote
control and the speech and it was more like 3 seconds. I would be interested
to know if anybody else is noticing this type of delay on 555.

Hi Peter.
Go to the settings on your LG TV, is there not a speed test function in the
connectivity/network options?  I'm not in front of my TV at the moment but
can check later if you're still stuck.
All the best, Ibrahim.

Ibrahim

Thanks for responding. How do I "run a  speed test to check that I  am
getting a good solid connection to my network from my  TV" as opposed to
checking the signal into my house please?

Hi Peter.
The channel 555 TV guide is delivered via an internet connection for speech
to be generated so check your broadband connection to make sure it is
running at its best, also if your TV supports this as I believe LG TV units
do, run a speed test to check that you are getting a good solid connection
to your network from your TV.  The TV guide that is integrated into the LG
TV is part of the software experience on their Web OS platform and is thus
local rather than remotely generated.  Hope this helps.

I have recently bought a 32 inch LG tv. It is connected via Wi-Fi as is my
PC.

In comparison to the standard guide on the tv, the responsiveness on 555 is
dreadful. I am aware that the speed rate can be  adjusted but I am waiting
1.5 seconds after tapping the arrow controls before I get a response. That
is obviously not true of the PC response which is also connected by the same
Wi-Fi___33. I am better off using the standard guide which is quite easy to
navigate.

How do others find it?

Peter
