Hi,

TIF files are images, they can be printed out and scanned into Kurzweil
or another OCR package, plus most can read them in directly and get any
text from them.

Andrew.

Subject: [access-uk] TIF FILES

Hi all,

I'm about to get into a whole new data retrieval ball game here at work
and was wondering whether my memory or impression was correct that Tif
files are a complete no-no in terms of access with JFW?

Cheers now.
