Hi James,

I think they are working on trying to scroll the screen so it may work in
the end, but you are right, it doesn't at the moment.

Hi Sunil

I think if you look at the Talks manual you will find it says that you can't
do a continuous read of a whole web page because of the fact that Talks,
unlike desktop screenreaders, has to rely on the screen and can't access the
underlying html or wml of the page, so I think you're out of luck for the
time being.

Hi again Steve, the TALX+dwn arrow works fine in a .txt document. It
doesn't work on a webpage where there are links, TALX seems to stop talking
when it sees a link. I was having problems with a Wikipedia page which is
full of links. Is there any way of telling TALX not to stop reading when it
sees a link?

Hi Sunil,

This is simple, and I am surprised you didn't know it <Smile>.

You just press Talks down arrow, and continuous reading will begin from the
cursor position.

Hi, is it possible to make TALX read continuously without having to cursor
down after each line of text has been read? I'm really tempted to buy a
Bluetooth keyboard to make emailing and surfing quicker but I'm just
wondering if I'll still have to arrow through webpages line by line.cheers
