I think the media player which Jaws supports most in terms of scripts and
keystrokes etc is still Winamp. However I think you need to download the
version from nimite.com as I have heard that other versions may not play that
nicely with Windows 10.
There are masses of keystroke for Winam, press Jaws plus F1 to hear a list of
all the main ones once Winamp is installed.
Others recommend Windows Meedia Classic but for me this noislily announces
media percentage played but there may be a whay to customise this out.
Another allegedly accessible option is apparently Pot Player but as I am
happy with Winamp I have never investigated this.
You you could also visit www.nimite.com and the accessible Screen reader page
on there to download CD Burner XP to burn your audio cds, despite its name it
installs fine under Windows 10 and apparently works OK.

Subject: [access-uk] Suggestions for media player alternatives!
Hi All,
Has anyone here a preference for media players. I am looking for something
that will replace WMP and so far have tried using ITunes and VLC but I just
didn't find what I wanted from them. I am looking for something that works
well with JAWS and on Windows 10. I also want to be able to burn audio to CD
using the software. Also the other usual things like listen to radio and
other media player stuff.
Thank you for any recommendations.
Paul.
