Hi Paul -

Just looked, and I haven't got any of those services here, so can't stop them <smile> How long dos it take now to get from pushing the button to landing on the desk top? -

Hi All,

I spent considerable time today going through the various services on my
Windows 7 machine in order to try and solve the slow jaws start-up on the
log-on screen and again when loading up on my desktop after logging in. For me at least I managed to solve it and below are the list of items I stopped
from working within my services to fix this. I am now in a process of
elimination trying to determine which one or ones are responsible for the
behaviour.

*. Adobe update service: from automatic to stopped.
*. Care Mon Tuneup 360 monitor: From manual to disabled.
*. MBNAMScheduler Malwarebytes Scheduler: Automatic to disabled.
*. MBNAMService Malwarebytes Service: Automatic to disabled.
*. Mozilla Maintenance Service: Automatic to disabled.
*. Nitro PDF driver Spooler: Automatic to disabled.

Paul.
